As a part of that work, we joined forces with Creative Market in 2020 to help creators reach millions of customers on both platforms, providing greater exposure and opportunities for designers and digital creators alike. But the work doesn’t stop there.
Today, we are thrilled to welcome Fontspring into the Dribbble Family, alongside Creative Market, as we continue our mission to make designers around the world more successful.
With a catalog of over 700 of the world’s top type foundries, Fontspring is a marketplace celebrated for its fair and simple font licensing that supports both type designers and customers. Alongside their sister site Font Squirrel — a popular platform for sourcing free, high-quality, commercial-use fonts — Fontspring has worked hard to improve the font industry by making it easier for designers to license and understand fonts, and to give back to the independent foundries that power the industry.
As two designer-first companies, Dribbble and Fontspring share many of the same core values. We see this acquisition as an impactful next step in our mission to build the best platform that supports creatives throughout their careers.
With fonts being among the largest and fastest-growing digital goods category in our marketplace, we couldn’t be more excited to bring Fontspring’s expertise to the table as we work together to provide even more opportunities and resources for designers and creators to succeed.
So what’s next for Dribbble and Fontspring? For now, our teams will continue to operate as we have been, as we explore new opportunities to collaborate and serve the design community.
