“Our Minneapolis Dribbble + AIGA MN Cocktails with Creatives Meetup was great! With around forty attendees, we had some Dribbble Meetup regulars and other familiar faces through AIGA. It was a fantastic turnout. Able Seedhouse + Brewery kept the beer flowing and the Blue Fire Pizza food truck kept our stomachs happy. Thanks to Dribbble and Stocksy for providing sweet swag!
The neatest thing I heard happen at the event was when two Dribbblers introduced themselves to each other in person and had been fans of each other’s work for a very long time. “The meetup inside the Interaction South America 2017 was an incredible blast! We did six Dribbble raffles on the ISA stage during the day, giving away books and other goodies. “The first Reno Dribbble Meetup was a resounding success! The turnout was fantastic and it was great to see design students, enthusiasts, and professionals alike connecting around their passion. Not only was the gathering a great way to inspire students to pursue a career in design, it was also a way for us to all share why we love designing.
A healthy amount of craft beers and pizza helped create a relaxed atmosphere reminiscent of friends hanging out, and everyone chatted late into the night. “For the second time this year, Degordian hosted a Dribbble Meetup! This time we had an interesting panel discussion focused on the importance of self-promotion and different ways of promoting your work. Here at Degordian, we cherish the culture of investing in ourselves as well as giving back to the community.
The panel was moderated by Mario Šestak, Interactive Art Director at Degordian. Our panelists were Marko Cvijetić, Marina Matijaca, Marko Hrastovec, and Andrej Mlinarevic.
We wanted to give all of the young designers the opportunity to hear advice from four of their experienced colleagues coming from different areas of expertise, to share their personal practices, and with that, to be better at what they do. We are proud to say that we hosted more than one hundred people! Our heart is full knowing that we gave fuel to their motivation, a bit of know-how, and made a difference in our design community.
