My objective was to create a logo for my Substack publication (Boursalogia), where I share my research and insights on the stock market, along with a serialized mystery thriller storyline in which the character’s life depends on real-market trades. Picture the stock market meets The Da Vinci Code.
I know it’s very unique/weird! It’s my hobby and a passion project. And although I knew the exact vibe and concept I wanted, I also knew how complicated it would be to turn these weird and ethereal ideas into an actual logo.
And I’m mentioning all of this because I went through thousands of Dribbble shots to identify a designer who could make me feel confident enough that they would grasp my idea and turn it into a work of art.
Well, Nebo (Nebojsa Matkovic) didn’t create a work of art. He created a masterpiece.
Because even though I already had a good idea of what I wanted, I’m still blown away by his design. He outperformed, not just my expectations, but the ideas in my head.
I can safely say that just having this logo makes me want to dedicate more time to my Substack publication. Because I see the design, and it’s like a superpower for me to know that this awesome logo represents what I write about. It inspires me.
So, if it wasn’t clear already, this is a five-star review.
