All he did was use a previous web design he created and added some different AI renders to it. He didn't understand this was a rebrand, no matter how much I told him. In the end I won't be using what he provided. But he did end up doing work. I don't think it was worth a week's work. But I'm learning more about hiring. I'm taking it as a learning experience.
However, the experience with the platform gave me confidence that I was protected. Overall it was a great experience. I will try hiring again, I'll just be more thorough in my request next time.
