Biography
Monica Gallagher is a writer and artist with a penchant for creating stories about murderous people who like to make out. She’s dabbled in both web and published comics, and over the years has worked for a variety of publishers including Oni Press, Vertigo, and Dark Horse, among others.
She is the creator of the Webtoon comic Assassin Roommate, and the artist of Boo! It’s Sex!, written by Danielle Corsetto. Recently, Monica has continued work on Assassin Roommate and her roller derby romance comic Bonnie N. Collide, Nine to Five. She’s also been working through a series on Cryptids of the U.S.A., and just completed illustrating the first six issues of The Matron, about a female Texas serial killer and published by IPI Comics.
Monica resides in Austin with her husband, two cats, three stepdaughters, and way too many Jeeps.
