UI/UX Designer — Travel Booking Website
We are using a ready-made booking/search engine for results and availability. What we need is a world-class design and user experience similar in look and functionality to Trip.com.
Role Overview
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who will take full responsibility for designing the platform. The designer will not build the backend engine but will focus on:
Creating a beautiful and intuitive UI.
Supporting bilingual (RTL/LTR) layouts.
Ensuring smooth booking flow across different currencies.
Designing the checkout flow with Amazon Payment Services integration.
Responsibilities
Design a travel booking website with style and usability inspired by Trip.com.
Create responsive designs for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Build a bilingual interface (Arabic & English), supporting RTL/LTR layouts.
Ensure smooth integration with the existing search/booking engine backend.
Design a multi-currency booking and checkout flow.
Integrate Amazon Payment Services payment gateway into the design flow.
Create a consistent design system and style guide.
Conduct usability testing and refine user journeys for conversion optimization.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in UI/UX design for websites or applications.
Strong portfolio with examples of travel, booking, or e-commerce platforms.
Mastery of Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
Proven experience designing bilingual/multilingual websites.
Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and UX best practices.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS for developer collaboration.
Ability to work independently and deliver end-to-end design solutions.
Nice to Have
Experience with Amazon Payment Services or other payment gateways.
Familiarity with map integrations (Google Maps, location search).
Previous work on SEO-friendly web design.
