Sofia Maksenkova

For 10 years, I worked as a print designer, creating prints for umbrellas, scarves, and shawls, as well as designs for exclusive rugs and slippers in Photoshop and Illustrator.
Gradually, I returned to graphics, exploring the depiction of human movement and rhythm. I work primarily in ink, emphasizing its fluidity and deliberate coincidences. I love finding successful combinations of line and color, emphasizing contrasts and perspective, and adding texture. Sometimes I combine techniques and materials, adding watercolor pencils, gouache, acrylic, oil stenciling, and linocut. I also work in illustration, experimenting with animation, and comics.
2025 - Participated in the "Moscow and Muscovites" exhibition at the Exhibition Hall of the Moscow Union of Artists of Russia.
