Harry Vincent (They/Them) [born 1996, Southend-on-Sea, UK] is a designer whose work resides at the convergence of gothic and contemporary visual culture. Entirely self-taught, starting as an apprentice graphic designer locally and later advancing their career in London before opening their design practice as a freelancer. Their ever-evolving practice uses illustration, typography, bespoke mock-ups, and existing assets.
Vincent’s work touches on the modern socio-isolation. Citing the intentional divisional nature of existing systems; the struggle for creative navigation and; contempt for the archaic guidelines of life that currently exist.
In the overlap (and sometimes gap) of existence as a modern human—whose life is split into the digital and physical realms—pieces often attempt to bridge the two realms through subject or medium. This dichotomy and contrast of visual language became later pillars in the work, with linework and a Hellish-Red prevailing throughout Vincent's work, akin to a visual moniker.
