Afterglow behaved in a very professional way with me throughout the whole process, always with a very good, friendly and approachable attitude. Communication was smooth and the team was pleasant to work with.
That said, I must mention that the project took much longer than expected. In my opinion, if the effective working hours required had been properly allocated from the beginning, the full branding could realistically have been completed in two or three weeks.
Regarding the logo work, although we finally ended up with a couple of usable logos (one more developed and another clearly less polished), I was sometimes disappointed to notice that some ideas and proposals were clearly taken from existing websites or references. This was not only noticed by me, but also confirmed by members of my own team who reviewed the material carefully.
Some deliverables were also not 100% correct from a technical perspective. For example, the vector cleaning in some logos was not properly done, with duplicated strokes and shapes that should have been cleaned and corrected before final delivery.
Finally, I would like to point out a mismatch between what is described in their service offering and what was actually delivered in certain areas. As an example, if social media design is included as a deliverable, it should be properly developed. Delivering only three very simple example posts does not really represent a complete social media package. In my case, I expected elements such as social media headers, several well-designed post examples and layout templates adapted to different platforms, rather than a few rushed images.
Overall, the work shows good communication and flow, but it felt somewhat limited in terms of workload and expectations. Even so, I am grateful for the effort and the collaboration, and I appreciate the professional attitude they maintained during the project.
