Hick's Law
Hick’s Law states that the time for a user to make decisions correlate to the number of choices presented. The more choices a user is presented with, the longer time it’ll take to make decisions. Present users with minimal choices to speed up response time and to reduce the need for user interpretation. Keep in mind Hick’s law when designing elements such as navigation, lists and forms.
