Sometimes a brand's logotype needs more character, uniqueness and flair than a standard font can deliver. Creating a custom, hand-drawn and lettered logotype for your brand can provide the kind of personality your products need to stand out amongst your competition! I work with all styles of lettering and typography. If you have an idea for something funky and fresh, we can make it happen. If you have an idea for something more classical, reserved or stately, we can make that happen too!
This design package includes:
3 Concepts (hand-drawn sketches and refined drawings)
3 Revisions (of the chosen concept direction)
Final design in Vector format (black and white as well as your brand colors)
I begin each lettering project with research on possible lettering styles to reflect the brand and company and from there I move on to developing initial concept sketches. The concept sketches are narrowed down to a few options that may be appropriate for the design and then presented to the client. Once the client has reviewed the concept options, we can move into the revisions where we can fine-tune the chosen design concept. Once the revised drawing of the chosen concept is approved, I then begin the work of vectorizing the design. In this stage I completely redraw the design (over the original revised sketch) to produce a clean and infinitely scalable design.
