Real Estate Investment Software Design

About this Service

The displayed price and timeline are indicative, based on our experience with comparable projects. We discuss the scope, final cost and delivery schedule for each project individually.

UITOP designs real estate investment software for product teams working with property opportunities, deal information and portfolio performance. We organize the screens around the questions an investor or analyst needs to answer, from an individual property to the wider set of assets.

The first design phase focuses on one connected workflow. We can work on a deal-review area or on the path from a portfolio overview to a property's details. Your team provides the investment rules, source data and definitions for the figures users will see.

When This Service Fits

  • Users can see a portfolio total but struggle to find the property records behind it.

  • A deal screen combines historical facts, assumptions and projected figures with little indication of where each number comes from.

  • Property information, files and investment metrics are spread across several product areas.

  • Different roles review the same opportunity for different reasons, and the interface needs to reflect their tasks.

  • Your product has a model and data sources; its screens and interactions need design before the next build phase.

What Your Team Receives

  • Review of the selected investment workflow, current screens and available data.

  • User-role and task mapping for the agreed product area.

  • A screen structure linking portfolio, property and deal information where applicable.

  • UX/UI design for the selected tables, views, forms and detail panels.

  • Display rules for the agreed figures, labels, source dates and projection states.

  • Loading, missing-data, permission and changed-assumption states relevant to the workflow.

  • A clickable or functional prototype and reusable component patterns.

  • Documentation of behavior, open data questions and an engineering walkthrough.

We confirm the affected screens, roles and review scenarios before design begins. Financial-model development, data-provider integrations, legal disclosures and production engineering are separate scopes with their own requirements.

From Portfolio Summary to Property Detail

For a portfolio workflow, we define what a summary figure represents and how a user reaches the properties behind it. The design can group assets by criteria your team uses, then let someone inspect an individual property's status, supporting records and relevant metrics.

We agree the source, calculation owner, currency and period for figures in the selected view. A change in the selected period or portfolio filter needs an understandable effect on the displayed totals and property list. Missing data and figures from different reporting dates need visible treatment.

Reviewing a Deal

For a deal-review workflow, we map what the team knows about a property, which inputs are assumptions and which results are calculated by your existing model. The screen structure connects the property record to the information a user needs to check before continuing.

If scenarios are part of the product, we define how the user selects one, edits an allowed input and recognizes the resulting projection. Your investment team decides the model, formulas and acceptable assumptions. We design how its inputs, outputs and supporting context appear in the product.

Working in Your Product Process

We review your current product, sample records, terminology, design system and available feedback. Investment and product stakeholders check the proposed figures and workflows. Designers and engineers review the agreed interactions against the data and components the product can support.

Our designer can work in your existing prototype, create a functional artifact in Claude or another agreed tool, or prepare Figma files. We document the relevant states and component behavior in the format your team uses for implementation. If you need UITOP engineering later, we can scope that work against the selected product environment and data sources.

Relevant UITOP Work

UITOP designed Whiterock, a real estate investment platform for investors, lenders and brokers. The design case includes a dashboard, property views, a portfolio area, onboarding and a component library. It shows UITOP's experience structuring property and investment information across a larger product.

That case informs how we approach a new investment interface. We establish the record and figure relationships with your team, design the selected workflow and document what engineers need to build it. The investment model and data available for your product determine the details.

Reviewing the Design

We walk through representative opportunities or assets with your team. For a portfolio view, the review might start at a summary and continue into the property record behind a figure. For a deal view, it might check an input, inspect its source and compare the displayed projection with the model your team supplied.

We mark simulated behavior in the prototype and record the data or product decisions still open. Your team receives the selected design, component details and interaction notes for implementation. Tell us what your users analyze today. Where do they need to move between a property, a deal and the wider portfolio?
