About this Service
Some companies outgrow project work and need a design team that's simply there each week, working through whatever the product and marketing calendar puts in front of them. This retainer is built for that: a senior designer, backed by the rest of the studio, working against your account for a larger, fixed block of hours every month.
It fits teams with a steady queue already forming: screens, pages, campaigns, and iterations that would otherwise mean hiring in-house or writing a new brief every few weeks.
In the Package:
80 design hours per month, committed and reserved for your account (about 20 hours a week on average)
- Coverage across brand, web, product and app UI, and marketing design, shifting with your priorities month to month
- A senior designer as your main point of contact, with motion, 3D, or development support brought in for tasks that call for it
- A shared workspace and task board so requests, progress, and priorities stay visible on both sides
- Same-day response on working days, with most requests started within 48 hours
- A monthly recap of what shipped and how the hours were used
Process & Communication:
We start each month with a short planning conversation covering what's coming up, what matters most, and where the hours should go first. Day to day, requests come in as they arise rather than getting saved up, and we work through them in priority order.
Priorities get revisited at the start of each month rather than locked at the start of the engagement, so the hours follow whatever the product and marketing calendar actually needs that month.
The Team:
A senior designer leads your account and stays consistent month to month, with the wider Fantik team (design, motion, 3D, or engineering) brought in directly as specific tasks require it.
Contract:
This retainer runs month to month, with a 30-day notice to pause or cancel. Hours don't roll over automatically: given the volume involved, we recommend a short planning call early in the month so they get used well. Up to 10 hours can shift into the following month by agreement, and anything beyond the monthly commitment is quoted before we start rather than added on automatically.
Do you offer custom packages?
Yes. Hours can flex up for a heavier month, or the account can include a fixed share of development time if the queue runs dev-heavy. Tell us what a typical month looks like and we'll size it properly before starting.
