About this Service
Some founders already have development covered, in-house or through a separate team, and just need the design done right before anyone starts building. This service is for that: full UI/UX design for an iOS or Android app, delivered as a file your developers can build from without guessing at spacing or states.
It's design only, no development or back-end work, which keeps the price below a full design-and-build engagement and the timeline shorter, usually a few weeks instead of a couple of months.
In the Package:
Discovery call to align on product goals, users, and platform priorities
- User flow mapping for the app's core paths
- Wireframes for key screens before visual design starts
- High-fidelity UI for the full app, including loading, empty, and error states
- An interactive prototype covering the main flows
- A component set scoped to your app: buttons, inputs, cards, navigation
- A dev handoff file with specs, spacing, and exportable assets
- A short style reference covering color, type, and iconography direction
Process & Communication
Discovery & Flows. A call to understand the product, the users, and what the app needs to do, followed by mapping the core user flows into wireframes.
Visual Design. Wireframes become full UI screens, styled and refined over review rounds with your feedback folded in as we go.
Prototype & Handoff. Main flows get wired into a tappable prototype on device, then shipped as a handoff file with iOS and Android spacing specs your developers can build straight from.
The Team
One senior product designer leads the project from first flow to final screen. The wider Fantik team, including a second designer and our art director, reviews along the way, so nothing ships without a second set of eyes.
Contract
We work off a simple contract that covers scope, timeline, and payment, split 50% upfront and 50% on delivery. Nothing starts without it, and nothing changes partway through without a conversation first.
Do you offer custom packages?
Yes. If your app is bigger than the scope here, spans both platforms in full parallel design, or you want us to also handle development, message us with the details and we'll put together a quote that fits.
Concepts & Revisions
We design 2 initial directions for your core screens based on the discovery call, giving you a real choice before we commit to one. Once you choose a direction, you get up to 3 rounds of revisions before we lock the final files.
