We approach each project with the Design Thinking process.
The Design Thinking process was developed by very smart fellow David Kelley. He is a founder of the acclaimed design firm called IDEO. IDEO is the firm that solves problems across different mediums, from industrial design to product design, to service design. Design thinking can be used to solve different problems and challenges. And in the last few years, the Design thinking approach moved beyond the design world. It became a massive part of building successful businesses.
Design thinking is a human-centered approach to innovation that integrates people's needs and business objectives through design.
The three main pillars to Design Thinking are:
Users. With their motivations, goals, objectives, and pain points.
Business. With its key objectives, stakeholders, and success metrics.
And the Design. This is the process that puts all of it mentioned before together.
In essence, we aim to make our work the vehicle that sits at the intersection of user needs and business outcomes. This is where we can create the most effective results. And in the end, the most valuable work. We believe good design means a profitable business :)
So, our work is to serve the user needs and delivering on business objectives. If we use these two pillars (users and business) to guide our design objectives, we create an effective outcome.
Simply put, my work process is Understand, Create, Deliver.
