About this Service
Hello and thank you for your interest in my product packaging design services! My goal with every project is to create a finished product that portrays your brand in a visually engaging and impactful way. I always ask my clients what they like and what speaks to them before beginning a design. In the end, I want my work to feel like an extension of the client I am working for. It's not my project, it's yours, and I want my creativity to work as a tool alongside your vision.
Before beginning a design, I aim to understand your business, your needs, and your existing brand. What colors and themes currently exist? What do your current marketing materials look like? Do you want the new work to reinvent what you have or flow with what's existing? I am always flexible, open to suggestions, and willing to make recommendations.

***All prices will vary based on size and complexity of the design, plus the estimated time to create the work. Hand-drawn elements may increase time and cost.***
For reference, a label similar to the complexity of "Ruby Red" or "Professor Hops" (as seen in the portfolio attachments) would take around 12 hours to complete. These were drawn and colored by hand. An estimated total would be $600. For something more simple like the "Crowler" can design, an estimated time frame would be 6 hours and $300.
The Design Process:
Let's begin with a scheduled introductory call to discuss your ideas, inspiration, colors, verbiage, and all content required for the final product.
From start to finish, there will be continued communication. During the work week (Mon-Fri), my best method of communication is text or email.
For the first presentation, you will receive an initial concept per item or service requested. Depending on the complexity of the project, I may send a sketch prior to sending a finished draft. All revisions and rework will be charged at the same hourly rate.
Tools:
The tool(s) used will depend on the scope of the project. In most cases, I will use Adobe Illustrator (vector based program), unless the project can't be completed in a vector format.
Adobe Illustrator (vector based design)
Adobe Photoshop (pixel based designs)
Adobe Fresco (hand drawn elements)
All pixel based print documents will be generated in at least 300 dpi/ppi
Deliverables:
Once the design is complete, it will be packaged, zipped, and delivered as follows:
Original, layered file with editable text (.ai or .psd)
Original, outlined/merged file (.ai or .psd)
Print-ready PDF file with bleed and crop marks in CMYK
Print-ready PDF file with bleed (no marks) in CMYK
Cropped .jpeg in (for web and visual reference) in RGB
Free or open source font files
Terms & Timelines:
The client is responsible for supplying all written content and high-quality images (if applicable). If the images sent to me are not of the right quality, I will be sure to let you know. I am not responsible for materials that print poorly due to low resolution images or graphics that were provided to me. I am happy to source free stock images if needed. If paid stock images are requested, those will be added to the final invoice.
Concerning text, I am happy to edit or revise written content for best flow (my minor in college was in English literature/writing). However, if I have to create the written content, then that will be additional cost, billed at the same hourly rate.
Timelines will vary based on the scope of the project and complexity of the design. For a design with a similar complexity to the attached portfolio images, 4-5 weeks is typical with 1 week for revisions. All timelines are subject to the responsiveness of the client and my availability/workload, which I will communicate before beginning the work. No discount will be given for completing the work in a shorter or longer timeframe. Work requested in a rush may include an additional fee, depending on the turnaround time request.
Conclusion:
Thank you for your interest, and please reach out if you have further questions or would like to get started on your next project!
