Hey there! My name is Carla I am a graphic designer based in Portugal with 6 year experience working with studios and now working as a freelancer! My process usually begins with:
Research, researching the market, competitors and other brands is key to understanding what you are looking for, the feel and the vibe is extremely important. I will present you my research so I can get your feedback and get a feel of what you like and are looking for.
Then I start creating concepts and sketches, when I feel like I have something I develop it and make a presentation for you to see. (this includes 2 concepts if the first one isn't to your liking and 3 revisions if it is missing just small tweaks!)
If we agree on it then I start creating the brand guidelines, which is like a bible for your brand, something for you to follow (or future designers you work with) so that it stays consistent and therefore easily recognisable.
Finally I will create other materials we have agreed upon, for example packaging, social media, etc…
