Custom T Shirt & Apparel Graphic

About this Service

Original illustrated graphic created for one T-shirt, hoodie or apparel placement.

I create bold apparel artwork with strong composition, expressive linework, vintage poster energy, pop culture influence, character-driven visuals and a handcrafted graphic style. The objective is to produce one memorable standalone graphic suitable for clothing, streetwear or merchandise.

The artwork may be created in black and white or full color, according to the approved brief. This service covers the creation of one graphic only and does not include garment production or adaptations for multiple products.

THIS SERVICE INCLUDES:

  • one finished custom apparel graphic

  • one primary illustrated subject or one cohesive central composition

  • one focused visual concept developed from the approved brief

  • one placement only: front or back

  • one preliminary composition sketch for approval

  • one consolidated round of revisions at the sketch stage

  • production of the final detailed artwork

  • one approved black-and-white or full-color treatment

  • one consolidated round of minor refinements to the final artwork

  • one editable vector master file supplied in one agreed format: CDR, AI or EPS

  • one print-ready vector PDF

  • one high-resolution transparent PNG

  • one JPG preview

  • one flattened garment mockup for presentation

The subject and level of complexity must be reviewed before work begins. Requests involving multiple characters, complex scenes, extensive lettering or a level of detail substantially exceeding the portfolio examples may require a separate proposal.

CLIENT BRIEF REQUIRED:

Before work begins, the client must provide:

  • the intended garment type

  • the required placement: front or back

  • the intended print dimensions and orientation

  • the garment color

  • the intended use of the artwork

  • the target audience

  • the theme, message and subject of the graphic

  • all mandatory characters, objects, symbols or visual elements

  • anything that must not appear in the artwork

  • the exact wording to be included, fully checked and approved by the client

  • the preferred black-and-white or full-color treatment

  • any required or prohibited colors

  • the intended printing method, when known

  • relevant visual references or brand guidelines

  • all client-supplied logos or graphic assets

  • the requested delivery date, subject to confirmation

The client is responsible for the accuracy of all supplied wording, names, dates and information.

Work begins only once the brief, scope, reference material and required assets have been reviewed and confirmed in writing. The two-week production schedule begins from that point.

CONCEPT AND APPROVAL:

This service includes one focused visual concept, one composition and one preliminary sketch only.

It does not include several alternative concepts, speculative directions or multiple sketches from which to choose.

The preliminary composition must be approved before final production begins. Once approved, the concept, subject, composition, garment placement, wording and overall visual direction are considered locked.

The approved color treatment may be either black and white or full color. Only one final palette or color treatment is included.

PROJECT MILESTONES:

The kickoff milestone covers review of the brief and references, development of the concept and delivery of the preliminary composition sketch.

The final-delivery milestone covers production and delivery of the approved final apparel graphic and included files.

REVISIONS:

The first included revision round takes place at the preliminary sketch stage. It covers reasonable adjustments to:

  • composition

  • placement of the main illustrated elements

  • proportions

  • positioning of the approved wording

  • details already included in the original brief

The second included revision round takes place after production of the final artwork. It covers minor adjustments to:

  • details

  • linework

  • colors

  • contrast

  • balance

  • cropping

Revisions do not include:

  • a new concept or creative direction

  • a different composition

  • changing the primary subject

  • adding characters, objects or major elements that were not included in the approved brief

  • changing the garment placement

  • replacing or substantially rewriting the approved text

  • changing from black and white to full color, or from full color to black and white, after approval

  • creating an alternative colorway

  • creating a second graphic or additional garment placement

  • changing the artistic style

  • requesting a complete or substantial redraw

Any such request will be treated as additional work and quoted separately.

All feedback must be consolidated into one clear message by one designated decision-maker. Delayed feedback or changes to the original brief may affect the delivery date.

FINAL FILES:

The completed artwork will be supplied as one editable vector master file in the format agreed before work begins, together with a print-ready vector PDF, a high-resolution transparent PNG and a JPG preview.

The print-ready PDF will be supplied at the agreed dimensions and in the appropriate CMYK or agreed color mode. Printer-specific color separations and technical production adjustments are not included.

One flattened garment mockup is included for presentation purposes only. The editable mockup file is not included.

This service includes one final graphic, one placement and one approved color treatment only. Alternative colorways, additional placements, garment adaptations or production variations require a separate proposal.

Unused concepts, preliminary sketches, working files, alternative versions and additional mockups are not included in the final deliverables.

  • sleeve, collar, pocket or label graphics
