Social Media Coordinator & Graphic Designer 

Location: Westbury, Long Island (On-site, Monday–Friday)  Position: Full-Time 

 

About the Role 

Crystorama Lighting is seeking a highly creative Social Media Coordinator & Graphic Designer to help shape and elevate our brand across digital platforms. 

This is a hands-on role for a designer who thrives at the intersection of content, design, and social media, someone who doesn’t just execute, but contributes ideas, pushes creative, and brings a strong point of view. 

You’ll play a key role in defining how Crystorama shows up visually and digitally—from product launches and campaigns to daily social content and print materials.

This position sits at the center of our marketing and creative efforts. Your work will directly influence how designers, customers, and partners experience the Crystorama brand. From storytelling to execution, you’ll help bring our collections and campaigns to life across every touchpoint. 

 

What You’ll Do 

Design & Creative 

  • Design digital and print assets for campaigns, product launches, and trade events 

  • Create social graphics, email layouts, web banners, and marketing collateral 

  • Produce print-ready materials including catalogs, brochures, and showroom signage 

  • Develop digital advertisements for Meta, Pinterest, and programmatic platforms 

  • Support video editing and reel creation (mobile and desktop tools) 

  • Prepare and deliver final files for both digital and print production with precision 

 

 

Social Media & Content 

  • Own and manage daily content across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn 

  • Plan and execute content aligned with brand storytelling and campaigns 

  • Develop and produce bi-weekly reel concepts that feel current and design-forward 

  • Write elevated, on-brand captions and support hashtag strategy 

  • Partner with designers and collaborators to amplify brand presence 

 

Community & Growth 

  • Engage daily with designers, partners, and followers 

  • Monitor comments, DMs, and tagged content 

  • Build relationships and strengthen brand visibility 

 

Content Strategy & Trends 

  • Identify trends, audio, and emerging content opportunities 

  • Monitor competitors and industry leaders 

  • Contribute ideas for campaigns and seasonal storytelling 

 

Pinterest & SEO 

  • Publish and optimize pins using SEO-driven copy 

  • Maintain boards aligned with collections, categories, and trends 

 

Collaboration 

  • Work closely with marketing, PR, and creative teams 

  • Drive creative execution across Crystorama and related brands (Melrose & Madison) 

  • Support campaign planning and rollout 

 

Required Skills & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field 

  • 2–4 years of professional design experience 

  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) 

  • Strong working knowledge of Canva 

  • Experience creating content for Instagram and social platforms 

  • Digital design experience (ads, email, web) 

  • Print design experience (catalogs, brochures, signage) 

  • Understanding of print production standards 

  • Interest or experience in AI tools and creative workflows 

  • Basic video editing experience (CapCut, Adobe Express, InShot, etc.) 

  • Tech-savvy with a strong desire to learn and evolve 

  • Ability to travel 2–3 times per year
