Graphic/Product Designer
Creative firm in the Flatiron district seeks experienced candidates interested in designing products for the museum gift shop industry and beyond.
We are a full-service product design and development firm, specializing in the production of retail gift products for the museum world, as well as private label programs for fashion companies, and corporate gifts/premium items for international corporations.
This position will require the candidate to:
Develop designs and repeat patterns inspired by famous works of art
Create tech packs and production files for overseas factories
Have experience and knowledge of working with Pantone color guides
Help review lab dips and production samples arriving from factories
Assist in the preparation of artwork for client presentations
Be creative and have a good sense of color
Participate in “brainstorming” sessions, have good verbal and written skills in English
Communicate daily with the business owner
Design using Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop (knowledge of 3D CAD and AI is a plus)
Ideal candidate(s) will have a Bachelor’s Degree in art; be very organized and detail oriented; have good interpersonal skills, as well as a strong ability to multi-task while designing for several clients simultaneously.
Three or more years of related product design work will be considered a plus.
