Senior Web Designer (Contract)
We’re looking for a Senior Web Designer (Contract) to support the Betterworks marketing team on a contract basis. This role will own the user experience and visual design of our marketing website and digital campaigns, ensuring every interaction is engaging, intuitive, on-brand, and conversion-focused. You’ll work closely with our Senior Web Developer, Creative Director, marketers, and stakeholders across the company to create experiences that turn visitors into pipeline.
What You’ll Do
Lead UX design for our marketing website, landing pages, and other digital experiences.
Translate marketing goals and brand guidelines into high-converting, user-centric designs.
Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to develop conversion-optimized landing pages for campaigns, events, and paid programs.
Design responsive layouts and components that work seamlessly across desktop and mobile.
Partner with our Web Developer to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate closely with the creative director to ensure a consistent brand experience across all designs.
Apply UX best practices, CRO principles, and accessibility standards to all deliverables.
Conduct lightweight usability testing and iterate based on feedback.
Maintain and evolve a scalable design system for the marketing site.
What We’re Looking For
4+ years of professional UX design experience, with a strong portfolio of marketing websites and landing pages.
Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Proven ability to design for conversion optimization and lead generation.
Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first UX.
Experience collaborating closely with developers to bring designs to life.
Familiarity with HubSpot CMS or similar marketing platforms is a plus.
Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) standards and SEO-friendly design practices.
Strong collaboration skills and comfort working with a distributed team.
Video editing and motion design experience a plus.
