Product Designer

About Nclusion

Nclusion is on a mission to provide traditional financial services to 1.5 billion people worldwide without access today. Without a secure way to save, invest, or transfer money, individuals are not empowered to accumulate short or long-term wealth. We're changing that by bridging the gap between traditional banking and the communities that need it most.

About the Role

As a Product Designer, you will lead the design of intuitive and accessible financial tools that empower unbanked individuals in emerging markets, shaping how we deliver critical financial services to underserved communities.

This role is part strategy, part execution, and highly collaborative. You’ll work closely with product managers and engineers to design user experiences that are culturally informed, easy to use, and truly impactful.

What You’ll Do

  • Design end-to-end user experiences: From early concepts to polished designs, create financial products that are easy to understand and use across a wide variety of literacy and digital access levels.

  • Conduct user research and testing: Work directly with users in developing regions to gather feedback, validate design decisions, and ensure products are tailored to local needs and realities.

  • Collaborate across teams: Partner with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate product requirements into design deliverables that balance user needs with technical feasibility.

  • Develop and maintain design systems: Build scalable, flexible design systems that support a consistent user experience across products while allowing for regional adaptations.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience in product design: You have a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to ship intuitive, user-centered products, ideally in mobile-first or low-bandwidth environments.

  • Strong proficiency with Figma or similar design tools: Ability to quickly iterate, prototype, and hand off designs for development.

  • Empathy and adaptability: The ability to work in diverse, fast-changing environments and to design for audiences whose experiences differ significantly from your own.

  • Problem-solving mindset: A track record of solving complex problems with elegant, accessible design solutions.

Bonus Points

  • Experience designing for global or underserved markets: Familiarity with cultural, economic, and technological challenges faced by users in emerging economies.
