Senior UX/UI Designer-Health Tech
We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer excited to build the future of healthcare in a fast-paced AI-driven health-tech startup environment. This role will likely turn into a full time role as we build and grow the organization! We are looking for a creative collaborator, who can create crisp and compelling visual and user experiences to lead our UX/UI design and development efforts. We are looking for UX/UI employee #1, so we need a self-starter who is ready to create and is comfortable wearing multiple hats.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design and UX/UI design with expertise in Figma and the ability to translate creative concepts into engaging content. This role will involve working closely with our Founder/CEO, as well as our medical and technology development teams.

Responsibilities:
Conceptualize, develop & direct UX/UI design for AI-driven patient technology
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and medical teams, to conceptualize and execute product and design strategies
Critically analyze and empathize with diverse user needs, performing user research and analyzing results toward iterative product improvement
Participate in strategy discussions, providing both creative direction & user insights
Develop high-quality visual content for our core products & services, as well as company websites, social media, marketing campaigns and presentations
Utilize Figma to design wireframes, prototypes, and collaborate with teams on UX/UI design projects
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of assets
Ensure consistency of visual style and brand alignment across all assets/media
Stay current with industry trends/best practices to bring innovative ideas to the table
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field, or have developed a similar toolkit through excellent work experience
10+ years of experience in digital/multimedia design with a portfolio showcasing expertise in UX/UI and graphic design
Expertise in Figma for UX/UI design, wireframes, and prototyping
Experience in creating engaging content for digital platforms, including apps, websites and social media
Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and branding
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to organize and prioritize project tasks and responsibilities
Ability to take creative feedback and adjust designs to meet project objectives
Great communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong problem-solving skills are a must
Experience in information/UX architecture and video production each a plus
Experience in AI-driven tech and/or healthcare industries also each a plus
Experience in start-up environment(s) a huge plus

We are ideally looking to hire this role as a contract position that could be part-time or full-time to begin, but with the goal to progress to a hybrid, full-time position with an office location in the Burlington/Waltham area in 1H 2025.
