Before it dries

A lifelong observer, drawing faces in a radical light.
As an introvert, drawing portraits is a chance for me to tap into my heightened sensitivity and connect with a person's essence from a distance. It’s intricate work: a millimeter makes all the difference when it comes to faces.
I like to experiment with colorful light sources to spark a conversation.
When I get it right, I’ve put the viewer in my position, so they too can see the depth of the person.
