Biography
Katie is an artist and designer skilled in traditional and digital media. Katie holds a BA in Psychology and will complete a BFA in Illustrative Design from the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design in 2024.
Katire has publicly exhibited work at the Arvada Center, 40West Arts District, and RMCAD campus galleries.
Katie is the owner and creator of Eppie Peppercorn Designs LLC. She makes handmade dolls and fabric designs that combine her skills in illustration, digital art, toy design, and sewing.
In addition to being an artist, Katie is a former preschool teacher and children's librarian. She designed curriculum for children's library programs that were used at multiple libraries in El Paso County, CO. Her curriculum design experience is backed by graduate coursework completed in Educational Psychology & Human Development at UC Denver. She also has a strong analytical and technical background from three years of education at the Colorado School of Mines, where she was studying physics.
