Embodied Human Website Design
We are seeking a senior creative designer or studio to design and build the first public digital expression of Embodied Human — a philosophy-led platform exploring how human beings live well, remain conscious, and stay fully embodied in a technological world changing faster than our biology and psychology.
This is not simply a website. It is the first public architecture of a living ecosystem.
Embodied Human sits at the intersection of ancient practice, modern psychology, nervous system awareness, conscious community, health and wellbeing, technology and AI. The platform is built around five interdependent pillars:
01 — Spiritual Practice
02 — Health & Wellbeing
03 — Psychology, Relationship & Conscious Sexuality
04 — Community
05 — Technology & AI
The philosophy, manifesto, five-pillar structure, core copy, logo, tone and brand direction are already developed. We are not looking for someone to reinterpret the brand from scratch. We are looking for a senior creative partner who can translate an established vision into a refined, living digital experience.
The brief should be treated as the foundation and compass, not a cage. Within the established direction, we welcome thoughtful creative proposals that elevate the project.
The site must feel calm, intelligent, spacious, grounded, human and quietly powerful. It must not feel like a wellness brand, yoga brand, retreat brand, luxury lifestyle site, therapy clinic, tech startup or generic content platform.
The visual direction is:
Dark. Atmospheric. Editorial. Restrained. Typography-led. Generous spacing. Gold used as light within darkness, not decoration.
Typography, pacing, hierarchy, atmosphere and restraint are central. The work should feel considered, not decorative. The site should create presence, depth, clarity and trust.
The five pillar pages are especially important. Each pillar should feel like a room in the same temple, but with a different atmosphere. They should feel seeded, intentional and alive — not empty, but also not pretending to be complete. This platform is designed to grow over time through journal writing, contributors, practitioners, community, field inquiry, events, education and future content.
Primary scope:
A fully designed and built 7-page website
Mobile-optimised design and build

Clean handover and ability for us to update internally
We are especially interested in Webflow, but we are open to the strongest platform recommendation if there is a clear reason. The chosen platform must support premium editorial design, strong mobile experience, journal/content management, easy internal updates, clean handover and future growth.
Secondary scope may be quoted separately:
Social media templates
Document templates
Business cards
Email signatures
Presentation materials
Newsletter header
Zoom background
Wider digital assets
Selection will be made primarily on the strength of website/platform work, not general brand asset production.
We are looking for a senior-level designer or studio with demonstrable experience in premium editorial visual identity and website builds. Your portfolio must include real client work, not only concepts or AI-generated visuals. Dark, atmospheric, restrained, typography-led work is especially relevant.
In your response, please include:
1. Two or three relevant live websites or brand identity projects that show atmosphere, restraint, typography and premium execution.
2. What you would deliberately avoid in this project to stop it becoming a wellness brand, yoga brand, retreat brand, luxury lifestyle site, tech startup or generic content platform.
3. How you would approach the five pillar pages so that each feels like a room in the same temple, but with a different atmosphere.
4. Whether you design and build, or design only.
5. What platform you would recommend for this project and why.
6. What your process would look like during the first two weeks.
7. Your estimated timeline and fee for the primary website/platform scope.
Budget: open depending on experience, scope and quality of delivery. We are choosing carefully. The right fit matters more than speed.
Full designer brief, website copy and brand materials will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
