What’s up!
My name is Eli and I’m a UX designer and creative mind based in New York City. My journey to UX design has not been straightforward but it has been exciting and personally fulfulling. My educational background is in finance and I’m currently labeled a “Bro” working in operations for a hedge fund. Although I work in finance, I have always valued my creativity and look for ways to express myself. I love to draw and paint in my free time. I love the feeling when I’ve finished a painting after starting with a blank canvas…get the wine! This same feeling of fulfillment is what I’ve gotten from the design work I have done up until now. What started out as a way to learn something new has turned into a career that I’m pursuing. As an empathetic person I find conversations with people about their challenges to be engaging, and coming up with creative solutions is exciting.
