Personal Website Landing

I'm working through creating a new website for myself. In the past, I've aways gone the traditional portfolio / project site route. I'm thinking for this new site I'm going aim much more at a blog-type experience where I can share design challenges I'm facing and how I'm overcoming them.

All I have for now is a simple landing page for my new site. It's live at http://www.nicolasperner.com (though possibly still finicky on a few browsers). This is a shot of the mobile responsive view. I'm thinking the Infinity Insignia will trigger a dropdown for different design challenge categories once the project is further along.
