Illustrated Crab Speedart [Adobe Illustrator]

I wanted to explore a different style then what I usually create. Sometimes the trickiest illustrations are the simplest. I had made this Lil crab sketch awhile back and I figured this would be a fun Adobe Illustrator project. Total time: 3hrs.

I basically used the pen tool along with the brush tool. No special brushes needed, just a simple taper brush. It helps to create perfect circles with the ellipses tool, to form consistent curves and angles that help maintain balance. Have fun and stay creative my friends.
