Reading Room Library iOS App UI/UX

One of the best qualities or skills of a UI Designer is asking a lot questions or rather the right questions. Asking questions is a skill that can be crafted by asking simple questions like WHAT? WHY? HOW? and WHEN?

If you look at the above design, the first question that pops in my head is why have I divided the on-boarding into 3 steps. Why not dump the entire form into one long page.

I believe a UI Design should be able to lead without the users knowing they are being lead.
Affordances like 1 out of 3 steps help them understand that they are on the first step and there are 2 more steps to go.

This is called progressive on-boarding which helps reduce cognitive strain of the users
