Fido Identity (Reworked)

Previously, I had a very stylized and personable dog with the type knocked through the image - which I loved. However, upon further reflection I needed to push my identity more conceptually.

Fido is a online dog adoption service that reverses the typical procedure of checking boxes for the dog that you want, and focuses more on finding the right family for the dog. It ensures a happy dog, and a happy home. With this mark, I hope to embody the compatibility between dog and home, and still achieves a level of playfulness.

I'm looking for feedback on the silhouettes (the identity is flexible, and will feature a man for male users) - and ESPECIALLY the lock up between the mark and the type! I'm having a hard time figuring out where to place it. Thank you!
