Jaguars My Way

I was a little confused by the Jacksonville Jaguars' logo re-design that was unveiled yesterday: http://news.sportslogos.net/2013/02/05/jacksonville-jaguars-unveil-new-fierce-logo/

...I thought the illustration is ok, but therein lies the problem: It's an illustration, not a logo. I like my pro sports re-design projects to be of the TNT and wrecking ball varieties, and to be honest I was pretty fond of original logo, "Cheeto puffs" spots and all. Rather than tweet and hem and haw about it anymore I just put together a "If it were mine" version about it.
