Project Timelines

"How much will it cost?" ... "How long will it take?" ... and ... "What is included?" ... This is the holy trinity of any product offering. I love the ability of diagrams to visually centralize the relationships between multiple dimensions. In the first example, the project process is broken up in to four phases. The thrust of the graphic is a "to do list" showing what the customer versus the company is responsible for, all laid out from start to finish. It also includes timing and price data overlaid. This is still a fairly large amount of information to digest at first glance, so the graphic has a simplified partner version, using the same design language, for a first customer touchpoint. In the second example, the diagram is used for a sales contract. With a very large purchase in the 100Ks of dollars, and a relatively complex system for multiple installments, clarity reduces stress and the potential for misunderstanding. Clients can see right in front of them how each payment relates to the process overall without digging through paragraphs of text.
