Magi Pearl - CDC Axolotl Adventurer

My Character Design for this month’s Character Design Challenge. The theme was “Axolotl Adventurer”.

Magi Pearl is based on the Albino Axolotl, with golden skin and golden eyes. I went for a very mayan inspired sugar skull design for her headdress. I decided to class her as a mage, the more under appreciated of adventurer classes, and pair that with the even more under appreciated element of water. Her magic is focussed on healing and defense water shields, since she is amphibian that made sense as she would need water to travel on land for longer periods.

Pearl is the granddaughter of a member of the head of the Sacred Shamans. She was chosen by the council to journey with Chieftan Axo The XIII as the protector of their posse. Together these adventurers will face perils unknown, but Pearl is fully up to the task! She is driven to find a new home for the Axolotl tribe, her motherly instincts fighting to protect her species.
