Munyal Typeface (Adlam)

This was my honors typography project for Fall 2019 semester. The task was to research a non-western Alphabet and create a typeface. I began by sketching the letterforms and testing out different styles of typography with each letterform. Once I decided on the geometric sans-serif model, I scanned my sketches into the computer and was able to execute and refine them fairly easily using eclipses and rectangles to create even stroke weights and counters.
