It is believed that both Devas (Deities) and Asuras (Demons) churned the sea together to produce Amrit - a drink that makes you immortal. But the fate turned the sea into poison called Halahala, which eventually started harming both Devas and Asuras.

Together then went to seek Shiva's help after being ignored by Brahma and Vishnu. Shiva drank the Halahala and saved Devas and Asuras.

Here, the snake represents Halahala. Blood represents harm caused by Halahala. The tagline says "Who survived Halahala?", and behind that, there is 5 headed Shiva.
