Houssem Aouar - Lyon's French Wonderkid

According to Daily Mirror journalist David Maddock speaking to LFC4AR via Football Fancast, Liverpool currently have Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar ‘on their radar’ Maddock goes onto add that this is ‘absolutely no doubt.’

The 21-year-old French midfielder Houssem Aouar has been one of the brightest sparks coming through the ranks at Lyon in Ligue 1 over the last couple of seasons since making his debut in 2017. Houssem Aouar has already made over 100 appearances in all competitions for the French side and currently has 16 goals and 21 assist.

Still quite young and with plenty of time to develop, Houssem Aouar definitely possess similar traits to that of Philippe Coutinho. Just like the Brazilian, Aouar is known for his diminutive frame and his ability to skip past defenders with ease and find his teammates with effortless through balls.
