10x19 Willie Nelson

Continuing the #10x19 countdown, I have Willie Nelson’s Ride Me Back Home Album on my list of faves this year. Have you all watched Ken Burns’ Country Music documentary yet? The episode on Outlaws was so good. Willie was a truly misunderstood genius from the beginning. But he found himself when he returned home to Texas, and now we know him as a king of the genre. His ability to weave jazz into his music has always impressed me. Listen to “Stay Away from Lonely Places” on this album.
