Museum of Art Cluj-Napoca website redesign concept
For color inspiration, I looked at the coat of arms of the Bánffy family, which has as main colors blue and yellow.
Since the museum has multiple art collections from the 1800s and 1900s, but holds contemporary exhibitions and events, as well, I wanted to illustrate this mix by combining the old with the new, the ‘vintage’ and the modern. For e.g., I used a serif typeface, Garamond as the main visual element, and the two colors mentioned above in a more contemporary way. The page has a long scroll navigation letting the user check everything the museum has to offer.
