This poster project is driven to encourage people to seek help from self-harm. The poster series shows a person substituting a passion for a razor blade to a passion for butterflies. Join us on the 1st of March in this awareness. Inflicting Tissue Damage Non-Suicidal acts such as cutting with sharp instruments, burning one's skin, banging limbs on hard surfaces, scratching one's skin, and breaking one's bones. Studies have shown that people who may have depression, eating disorders, or a substance-abuse problem are also more vulnerable to self-harm. Sexual, physical, and emotional abuse can also increase the risk of self-mutilation. The short poems were written by Billy Chapata, an old friend.
