Made in Oregon

Working on a rebrand that hasn't quite wrapped yet, but client gave me the okay to share this custom gem we came up with for their about page.

Did you know the infamous White Stag sign in Portland Oregon originally said "White Stag - Sportswear" until the 1970's when it changed to "Made in Oregon - Old Town". That slogan remained until 2010 when it was updated to the current "Portland, Oregon - Old Town" design.

We payed homage to the history of the sign while also incorporating the client's brand identity and year estblished. We also opted for a more interesting and legible script than the existing sign, as we plan to use this emblem as a small icon on packaging and marketing materials.
