Blog Advertising

I'm currently working on a blog project that has a lot of potential for ad sales. I've seen some new methods of advertising alongside content, but blog designers traditionally reserve the sidebar for the bulk of the ads. I want this to be the right answer for the blog owner, as well as the advertisers.
