Responsive Design Exercise

This is a quick exercise I put together to showcase responsive design concepts. From desktop to tablet to mobile device, content changes along the grid layout to maintain continuity.

The branding is whimsical and illustrations support the upbeat feeling of the overall design. Serif type is used for the large titling to draw attention, while sans serif promotes better readability across the navigation, subheading(s) and smaller titled content.

Note the masthead dynamically changes based on device, establishing and resizing branding and critical navigational elements to fit the device format.

The design is open and inviting to promote audience engagement of the key content. A simple three-color palette is used and incorporates variations of tonal values.
