This year's christmas gift book comes from the west coast of Norway. It's presented in a beautiful large format and is a well designed tribute to the gorgeous nature and traditional factories with photos of wool, leather and knitwear production along the stunning Osterfjord, situated on the west coast of Norway.
Limited edition, hardback cover with gold embossing and a range of fine paper qualities. This book portrays both the legendary past and success stories form the immediate present. Participants in the book has supplied leather for the largest luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Prada, Hermés, produced for the U.S. equipment giant LL Bean or sold norwegian knitted sweaters next to Dolcé Gabbana. All this, along with the last band weaving mill in Osterøy run by a long retired enthusiast, the book portrays the heart and soul of the western Norwegian crafts and industrial tradition.
