Logo concept "NachTisch"

This is a Concept Logo for a Friend of mine. The Name of the Start-up is called "NachTisch" as they want to merge its meaning into one. From "dessert" to an actual "after table meeting", they wanted to express their needs and commitment to teach other people about how to preserve and sustain food.

They are new made up council for Nutritional Science and wanted a Logo that fits their concept.
What I tried to do is what they asked me to do: make it a literal Table that invites you to speak and learn about Nutritional Science. I thought about some possibilities, from letting it either out completely, showing it is about nutrition or just merge their name to one and make a literal logo out of it.

What do you guys think ?
