Designing for an online publishing website

Geek Gazette is the official student-run group of IIT ROORKEE. We bring in two magazines each year, find funds for our basic functioning, write content and finally curate that content into something more aesthetically pleasing and interesting for our local userbase.
As it all started with the print media so most of our efforts went into improving the experience of our magazine but soon we realized that more of our readers are shifting to the web for reading the content. We had our own website to serve online articles but it was at a very nascent stage.
So realizing the true potential of the web, this time we decided to revamp the whole web experience of Geek Gazette.
