Dirigibbble Airship

I feel like every post I do would be like 'WHOA LONG TIME DRIBBBLE!'

Hopefully I can end this pattern and post more often! 2019 has been an interesting year. A lot of advancements, and new/exciting decisions made, although I wish I got more personal illustrations done... Like this one!

I went a little crazy though... Over 800 layers on this one, which really tested the limits of my work machine, and also to this style of digital illustration I believe. I had the itch for a while, so I guess I had to go with something a little nuts like this.

Inspiration for this piece comes from recent experiences. I've been on boats and planes a lot lately... Traveling a lot more than I'd want to to be honest haha. I've been paying attention to a lot of dome-like structures for some reason, and as I was working on this, it started to remind me of tarot card design so I ran with that. I also watched the 'new' Aladdin recently, which I'm sure had a little bit of influence on this.

It was a fun piece my friends, and it's great to be back on Dribbble. Here's hoping I will pump out more for you all!
