HAL - Smart Home
For this year’s Mocktober I decided to put a villainous twist on a smart home system. The HAL 9000 seemed like the obvious choice. For the site’s design, I wanted to give HAL a bit of a modern, more grounded feel, while still staying true to his original form and personality. I imagine HAL would host and manage his own site, so I added some visual glitches to mirror his ‘mental’ breakdown from the movie (2001: A Space Odyssey).
