Kinetic Type Exploration. Day 2

The objective of this project is to improve my motion techniques and narration skills. I decided to work with typography as I find it to be the most challenging aspect of design. I didn't choose any methodology as I want to keep element of fun and excitement while learning.

This is an animation of the word movement. Unlike the other nouns the word movement is not constrained by any associations, it is referring to itself. The wikipedia defines it as an act of moving, change, development. Having in mind that movement has no particular qualities, or rather that the qualities it has are always changing I decided to create animation that would feel dynamic, jerky, abrupt but has a fluidity to it.

While developing animation I used principles of anticipation, follow through & overlapping and timing, from the “Illusion of Life” by Thomas i Ollie Johnston.
