Gatagata Bashi - Rattling Bridge

For my fifth Mocktober, I wanted to take a step back from pop culture. With an obsession for the Japanese language, the story of Gatagata Bashi, or Rattling Bridge, was one I couldn’t pass up as a topic. Though I should probably note that the original title is, “The Sound of the Dead Traveling to Tachiyama Hell as They Crossed the Suspension Bridge”. But that’s just a little too long.

For a challenge, I wanted to try illustrations one more time but restricted myself to Photoshop instead of Illustrator. My pen tool game has stayed steady but the lasso had been hung up for years.
